Determining North

After several rainy days, an hour-long break in the clouds permitted us to determine geographical north precisely by sighting on Polaris. We did this from about 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. in our bathrobes and awoke later that morning to see (with tremendous satisfaction!) our yellow tape stretched north-south across the foundation. This allowed Steve and Mike to proceed with the next phase of construction.
